My life is amazing

We just finished up Ocarina of Time about 8:55 AM, November 22, 2008. It was a good 17ish hours. Although I came up finishing in an unoffical third, I really enjoyed it.

Project M started off with a lot of screaming, yelling, and joking. I started off into a quick lead easily finishing the Deku and Dodongo levels. Travis was able to catch up and steal Jabu-Jabu from me. Nick and Brad were trailing behind, but we all met up at the Forest Temple. It was really close but I got a few lucky breaks and was able to sneak it out. The Fire Temple found Travis way in the lead with me and Nick chasing close by. The water temple was the craziest of all as we changed leads multiple times between the four of us. From then on out it went downhill for me and Travis, Brad, and Nick were able to use their experience to build a big lead. I spent the rest of the night playing catch up to basically to no avail. Brad and Travis were just too tough and played very cleanly. I managed to catch up to Nick at the Spirit Temple, but he had to leave for work so he wasn't able to finish. I figured it'd be the right thing to do to finish up the game, so I did. Congratulations to Brad for finishing Ocarina for the First time and also to Travis who came in second. Had things gone a little different here and there, Travis may have won.

Now it's morning. I'm not really sure what to do. My body is still on a rush from playing games all night and hanging out with friend. It's also my birthday today, so I feel like it should be a day I don't waste sleeping. I don't feel like I'm 27. I don't feel like I'm getting old or not being able to do the things I used to. I'm maturing but I'm still able to be carefree and sometimes stupid. I'm finding myself doing things I never thought of doing when I was younger, ie Zelda Marathon. I feel like my life is a blank canvas, so who knows what can/will happen tomorrow. So thanks everyone who showed up, some being there all night. It was for you guys that I decided to push through and finish the game. I felt like you guys deserved my best effort. I'm a little tired now so I think I'm going to go get some breakfast. I could even go as far as to say that I have a breakfast date.
