I'm serious. Buy Yakuza 2! ...OR I WILL KILL YOU!

I've been championing this game like crazy lately, and I realize this may be getting annoying. But this site is an outlet for me to reach peoples' ears and I will exploit it as much as I possibly can.

I WANT YAKUZA 3 TO GET AN AMERICAN RELEASE

Now... Yakuza 2 will no doubt sell like crap. But I really feel like every little bit counts. Buy this game, play this game, and talk about this game. Help spread the word!

Ok.... That was cool. But guess what, Yakuza 2 came out in 2006 in Japan. This is why the graphics are dated. Now take everything you just saw. And imagine it with these graphics:

So this game series is a mix of Japanese RPG, sandbox adventure, and brawler. It's sort of like Shenmue with an extra dose of badass. Even if you could care less about the brawler combat or the open world RPG qualities of the game, the Yakuza series has an excellent fucking story! It is just a really good crime drama. So much so they even made a Yakuza movie in Japan.

So...

The game is 30 dollars. It got a very short print run. Even if you don't play the game, buY it as an investment. Shane Bettenhausen of 1up said in the last episode of the 1up Show to buy it now for 30 dollars because this is the kind of game to be 150 dollars on ebay in a year or two. Oh? you like the 1up guys? Watch this, they all love it:
