I already cry myself to sleep every night because of you! You have ruined one of my favorite franchises. And now you are trying to do to it what will officially kill it! You will make people forget. You will make people think Castlevania is only worthy of nostalgia.

Ok. I know this sounds a bit harsh. In a recent interview over on Wired, Koji Igarashi talks of his upcoming turd fighting game on the Wii. I believe the official title has been changed to Wiilsuckslyvania.

But that isn't what caught my eye. The interviewer brought up Mega Man 9!!!! That fucking interviewer. Piece of shit. Well Iga in response said:

"I'm watching that very closely to see how it does. Myself, I'm a big retro gaming fan, so if it is successful that definitely opens up doors for what I can do."

I get angry just pasting that quote. I've already posted how I feel about Mega Man 9, and that was a series I don't give a shit about. Now Iga is thinking about doing this to Castlevania?????

Don't look at Mega Man 9. Look instead at the beautiful sprite work in Wario Land for the Wii. That's the direction you want to go.
