This was rumored already, but I needed the confirmation. I've been excited but somewhat down on Resident Evil 5 ever since I saw the first real gameplay footage. The game looked way way too similar to RE4. While this is still true, the announcement of online co-op changes everything. Resident Evil 4 is one of my favorite games ever. But playing a prettier version of that game with a friend? Too awesome for words. Except I wrote some anyway.
Valve and Capcom agree. Co-op zombie killing is just about the greatest video game idea ever.
