Cover Art Comparison - Metal Gear Solid 4

So Metal Gear Solid has always had some amazing cover art. Most games in the series feature the concept art of Yoji Shinkawa. Here are some of his previous covers:

This is the regular edition cover for both the Japanese and US versions. They chose not to use the old art style and instead opted for GIANT CG OLD MAN FACE. I'm not excited about this.








This is the far superior European cover for the game. It uses Shinkawa art and isn't A GIANT UGLY CG OLD MAN FACE.











Best of all is the Limited Edition version of the game coming out in the US. I would far prefer this to the regular edition, but it costs 85 dollars. I guess I'll just use this as a desktop wallpaper and keep my actual UGLY game box hidden in a drawer so no one suffers the wrath of A FUCKING GIANT SWEATY UGLY CG OLD MAN FACE.
