The Draft
During the season draft, each person drafts five upcoming games to start their roster for the year. Games can range from confirmed releases to riskier unannounced titles so strategy and an understanding of the industry is imperative.
Counter-Picks
Each player must also counterpick three games; two of which must be picked on draft night. Counterpicks are games on other players roster that you are hoping will perform less favorably or not release at all (see scoring).
Bids & Trades
Players must fill the remaining five spots on their roster by placing bids or securing trades with other players in their league. Each player starts the year with $100 budget so it is also a game about making smart financial decisions.
Scoring
Scores are calcuated based on review aggregate scoring on OpenCritic. Games earn one point for every point above 70 and two points for every point above 90. Games that you have counterpicked earn points for every point below 70.
