After skipping a week in favor of a fun community night, we return to the fold with an episode packed full of impressions and news. Everyone on the couch has spent a decent chunk of time with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Chris Davis finally has his chance to talk about The Division 2 just as Nick starts to get hooked on the first one. Of course, there's also a ton of news to talk about thanks to Google's Stadia, The Cadence of Hyrule, and Gearbox's awkward announcement of Borderlands 3!

During the podcast there was some confusion why vampire the masquerade bloodlines 2 was getting hype. While the combat and rush development of the 1st game felt odd at times, the dialogue and story were a major highlight. From multiple choices to pick from in chats, with certain options only appearing with certain vampire classes or being low on blood, along with multiple endings it was quite fun to replay for those factors alone imo.

With that said, what’s cool about the sequel is they manage to get the original composer and lead writer along with Chris Avellone to help write the sequel’s story. If it manages to even nail some of the original’s story crafting then I have high hopes for the sequel.

P.S. F ya borderlands haters, I’m hype as shit for Borderlands 3 and nothing will stop me!

Last week I asked a question about hot boxing in a video game character's farts while EATING mashed bananas. Apparently, I'm a doorknob and can't type anything correctly. The point of the mashed bananas was that I happen to find mashed bananas to be the most visually repulsive food with an unsettling slimy texture. I'd like to thank Nolan for actually answering the question, and Nick for seeing past my partial illiteracy.
Also, I don't understand what's so fun about Borderlands. I've bought them multiple times and cannot stand how boring and repetitive they are. They're funny, but it's the same shit over and over. "Go here, shoot that, loot that, return to quest giver, repeat." I'd rather suck a wet fart outta Solid Snakes asshole

I really wanted to share this story I remembered based on the mashed bananas question from last week.

When i was a kid my older cousin and I were at the mall and he needed to use the bathroom, so I waited outside. Someone had destroyed the toilet so bad you could smell it standing a good few feet away. He said loudly “I breathe through my mouth so i don’t smell it.” I asked him “so you taste it then?”

He immediately threw up all over himself and started crying. And he had to wait there for an hour while his mom ran off to buy sweatpants and his dad cleaned him up. Last I saw him, he’s still upset about it.

1.To answer your question, Yes I CO-OP RE 6 first then played RE 5.
    2. Good on you for scaling back on streams . Just as you shouldn't force yourself to work a job you absolutely hate, you should not force a stream if your not 100% about it?
    3. Brad pick your poison: hot boxing Krispy farts or drinking his bath water?

You going to a place with slow internet, Nick? I'm not expecting any visitors at my house... kappa
I think it goes without saying that Stadia would be the end of me for gaming. Children come out of the womb faster than my internet speed.

I loved the mini cutscenes in Burnout 3 because they were so far in between since you only got one after getting a trophy, unlocking a car, or unlocking the next class of races in the campaign. Really made you feel accomplished!

    Also, jesus christ you guys.

Hello guys! Great discussion last week. In the Sekiro segment you seemed to agree that Sekiro (so far) is harder than both Darks Souls and Bloodborne. To me this is really interesting. I finished the game last week and overall I found it quite a lot easier than both Dark Souls and Bloodborne. All previous From games have been really hard for me, but Sekiro was, outside of a few bosses rather friction free. Maybe it's because I played it on PC and got 60 FPS or something else entirely. Anyway I find it interesting how divided the community seems to be regarding this.
