Halloween is approaching and as one might expect, we are delving deep into the latest entry in the Fatal Frame franchise! Brad covers the ins and outs of the new game and explains why this may not be best game in the series unfortunately. Jack fills in for Nolan this week and inspires a lovely nostalgic, conversation about TimeSplitters 2. In other news, Assassin's Creed Syndicate is surprisingly good, Tales from the Borderlands is STILL good, and Sony's first-party line up for 2016 is coming together nicely (Wild, Detroid, Horizon, etc)!

Wanting Quanitc Dream to make a game "with different mechanics" is kind of an odd request. Kind of sounds like you want them to make games like everyone else. Sure it doesn't always go over well, but I feel like they are one of the few AAA developers that ARE making games differently. They haven't always been great, but I always look forward to what they are doing next simply because its different.

Hi Andrew. I agree with you in a way but at the same time, I would argue that their formula was "new and different" when they introduced Farenheit (Indigo Prophecy) and to an extent, Heavy Rain. But that formula can outstay it's welcome. That's the main reason I don't touch Telltale games much anymore. With that said, i'm excited and will definitely be playing it when it comes out.
