New Contributor Spotlight: Josh Britton - "From Community to Community"

Happy E3 everybody! My name is Josh Britton, and I am going to be assisting 4PN in covering E3 this year.

It is no secret that E3 is known to bring on an overwhelmingly large amount of content on anything and everything gaming related. This includes a massive amount of trailers, gameplay demonstrations, and news announcements. Fortunately, myself and two other community writers will be added to the traditional 4PN writing team, so hopefully this flood of information may not seem so intimidating to both the writers, and also the readers.

My goal this year is to assist the other 4PN members in making this website feel as comfortable for the community as possible. I know that it can sometimes be challenging to digest a lot of the content that pours from this event. Last year I had played the role of an E3 observer, meaning that I had no direct ties or responsibilities in rehashing content, and one of the most notable feelings I remember having was this strange sense of isolation. Getting direct E3 coverage from websites like Spike and Twitch has been something I thoroughly enjoyed through out the week, but some of the most memorable moments had come from interacting with the Twitch chat during podcast recordings, and even when there was nothing being streamed, I still popped into chat to find a good group of others eager to discuss E3 subjects.

It was this really unique feeling of togetherness that I feel confident in saying very few video game sites can offer. I genuinely hope that in the duration of my time here with the 4PN writing staff I can convey some of those feelings to you guys. So please feel free to interact with myself or any of the other writers when you feel like you need someone to talk to about the news that will be coming soon; this is helping me realize just how valuable feedback is, and hopefully you'll see that too.
