I wonder if the betrayel caused by misrepresentation of the Final fantasy 7 remake will cause problems for its continuation. Episodic games have enough problems with player retention as it is.

Also, Mass effect; Andromeda is unfairly maligned.

On the topic of guilty pleasure movies: Brad mentioned watching movies with Henry dozens of times. I've seen "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" with my daughter over and over, and I've made a habit of trying to look at the non-focal points in every scene. I've noticed so many details that its actually made it rewarding. Also I've picked up puns and jokes on the 50th watching that I never noticed originally.

Also, Nick mentioned "The Holiday"- my wife LOVES that movie and can watch it any day.

To comment on the two additional seasons of FLCL, both should definitely be watched, especially Alternative since it has more interesting characters and relatable life lessons. That said, in relation to the original FLCL, lower your expectations about the animation quality for both. Yes, it's unfair to expect the same off-the-wall, beautiful, and satisfying animation that blessed the first season, but to borrow Chrispy's phrase about Last of Us 2, "It better be fucking good." And honestly, Progressive and Alternative are visually passable, but painfully mediocre.

And that 'rose under the wiperblade' idea would be terrifying. Hilarious for the giver, terrifying for the receiver. Love ya'll.
