I just finished Metro Exodus (thank you Game Pass on PC). There was a bit of a hump to get over in the beginning, trying to get used to the slower movement, but I ended up loving it. Great characters and story. Also slightly bragging but that game really takes advantage of a decent PC and home theater, really great sound.

I also finished Plague Tale, it was pretty fun. But way more limited in scope.

The discussion about Sekiro was very interesting to me as we all must view things in two different lights. Nick said he continued to hit a wall and would continue to fight bosses up to 50+ attempts. This is what I would consider madness.

I loved Demon's Souls but when I got to Dark Souls, I attempted the Capra Demon about 30+ times, getting more and more frustrated with each attempt. When I finally defeated him, I threw down my controller and said out loud: "That was not satisfying in the slightest. I don't feel like I achieved anything. I don't understand how anyone could enjoy this."

I'm not ragging on anyone who does enjoy this series (hell, I've attempted Bloodborne, Nioh, Salt & Sactuary, etc. and hated all of them), but I will say it is very interesting to me that the thing that keeps a lot of fans intrigued and engaged is the EXACT thing that makes me never want to touch another game in the series ever again.

Brad's remark about his Frootloops tasting like cummy Applejacks made me laugh so hard that I had to pull my car over.

9 years listening to this podcast, I've never heard Nick rage on the podcast quite like that. Makes me wanna watch his Seikiro streams and watch him rage more. ^_^

While I enjoyed them more as a kid, I think of corn dogs now as one of the lowest forms of sausage food. The worst part is always eating around the wooden stick inside.

But damn, I'd definitely marry mustard and lay her down to explore her varied flavors and have ketchup be my side-chick. And then I'd kill ranch, nothing against it though.

And Brad saying 'ropey' multiple times this episode made me more happy than I can say. A top tier episode of the podcast this year, made only better by 'cummy Applejacks.'
