With a little more than half 2019 in our rear view mirror, it's time to think about which games have really stolen the show so far with our individual Top 5 lists. We also talk about our first impressions of Dragon Quest Builders 2, CATS the movie, and Nick finally caved to the pressure and played Max Payne; the game that put Remedy on the map.

Glad to hear Nick enjoying Max Payne!

I think the sequel has aged much better though, and Sam Lake's writing is on another level.

Hey Nick just wanted to let you know the steam controller is a pretty good option for steam games without gamepad support. When playing a game you can load up the most popular user made controller bindings for that game. Its a really amazing little feature that valve just doesn't advertise for some reason.

Hey guys. Taxter from discord here! First time leaving a comment because I felt I HAD to chime in on the Outer Wilds discussion. You all seem to have a positive opinion on the game, and to be enjoying it which is awesome, but please for the love of god don't like this absolute gem of a game fall by the wayside! As a massive fan of scifi genre in general, Outer Wilds has one of the most compelling and thought provoking stories in any piece of science fiction... ever. I went into this game with zero expectation and was so blown away by the end. Play this to completion at your own pace, but do yourselves a favor and finish it because it is for sure game of the year material. Not to mention that the only other game that has given me as many, " Holy Sh*t that's so smart" moments Is the Witness, and I know how you all feel about that game.

I really feel for Nolan when he said he just didn't have enough time to play certain games. With adult responsibilities and more important things to focus on, it's made me realize that I just don't have time for multiplayer games anymore. Considering the time they demand to play them well and knowing that in the end I'll just slowly dedicate less and less time with one until I drop it all together to play the new hotness, I'd rather just play singleplayer games. They're less of a gamble, less of a hassle to play, especially when you want to play with friends but you all work different schedules. I at least try to play 4 hours every weekend. Keep strong, guys, and hope you all find time to keep yourselves playing!
