Played a ton of the Gwent Beta. Brad is spot on about Thronebreaker (I think the official name is Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, not the other way around). Great production value, compelling story so far.

Haven't seen any marketing, but they did do a lot of streams on CDproject's Twitch channel that hyped up the game for me- it was probably just seen by Gwent players, though.

You do unlock a lot of things for Gwent multiplayer, which does have standard cards and animated cards. The multiplayer is separated out because it is free, and there is a good daily reward for playing. Over time you do earn the animated cards.

The reveal of the final Smash characters and the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 really has me thinking about the way video game developers think and how fan bases critique their products. I, myself, am disappointed that there will be several uninteresting characters like Isabelle and Dark Pit in the new Smash instead of just a few, more desirable fighters. However it's still going to be a great game and I would never cancel my preorder like many already have.

Red Dead 2 is a magnificent experience, though many quit playing and gave it a 0/10 because of a slow opening, and a few rough mechanics (such as randomly being unequipped after being on a horse). I'd like to say that this large group of gamers tend to over exaggerate and blow things out of proportion...but it would be wrong to say these things really do bug me and I kinda view them as a massive oversight. Can certain small annoyances/disappointments really make or break a game to the extent of how people view these two games? I really don't know.

Also, it was Dracula. And Maria does not love me.

I quite enjoyed Brad hyping up Thronebreaker this week. Even though i am a massive witcher fan, and i was aware of the game. I did not put it high on my priority list.

(don't have to read this on the show)

Just a bit of show feedback. In the past, when things get a little heated sometimes you guys have struggled to move on and I just wanted to say nice job moving on from the 3DS/Switch conversation, I thought you were going to get stuck there for a while.
