It certainly doesn’t feel like a summer lull this week! Brad spent the day getting whipped by The End is Nigh and Nick got his hands on Little Nightmares DLC and the shiny new remaster, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. On top of all that, Chris Davis tried a bizarre new game, Get Even, which sounds like a mix of The Matrix, Condemned, Assassin’s Creed, Twisted Metal, and Sesame Street (or something like that).

I would love to get vr especially now that the games are looking pretty cool, if only i had room at my house to use it.

While speaking about Get Even. Davis could hardly get a full sentence in without somebody saying something. Rood. And I do agree Krispy should play it.

The final fantasy 12 discussion sparked some thoughts about that game.
I have sort of mixed feelings about returning to final fantasy 12. On one hand the changes that have been made sound compelling. On the other hand there is what happened the first time i tried to play it. The main story did not grab me, but i quite enjoyed the hunts. Which i went out of my way to do. To the point of being more than 20 levels above story content when i finally returned after doing every hunt within reach.

After that i tried to return to the main path, but it was like like returning to a long game in the middle of a save that you can hardly remember. Despite it being a game that i had actively played. On top of that i became annoyed with not feeling powerful despite my massive level advantage. Which is why i quit at that point. Which was like 60-70 hours into the game.
