Today Square Enix has announced that a Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is coming to the Playstation 3 and Vita in North America this year. It appears that the PS3 version will have both games bundled on a single disc, but may be separated in two for the Vita. A trailer should be heading our way sometime in the following week.
I have only played Final Fantasy VII but have been implored by many to look into FFX as well. Will you be picking this up as a part of your must-play list of 2013 game releases?

While some see it as the game that started the downfall of the FF series I freaking love Final Fantasy X. I love everything about it. The story, the characters, the PERFECT battle system, the world, the EVERYTHING.
Definitely picking this up when it comes out. No doubt about it.

Meh, Final Fantasy 10 is still a decent enough looking game that it didn't really need a remake, especially when fans have been begging and pleading for 7, 8, and 9 remakes (especially 8). I can't help but feel like this is an attempt to make people play the dreadful 10-2 than no one wanted a part of a decade ago. Either that or they think their primary customer base doesn't remember 7, 8, and 9 and so would not be as excited for the product, in which case I may need to sign up for AARP....

Having PERFECT-ed FFX and FFX-2, I'm not really excited to see this remake. It's a decent JRPG.
I may still get it, but it depends highly on cost.

It will be nice to finally be able to play the international content in X. Don't care for X-2 though. I'll most likely just run through it normally then never play it again.

I really don't understand the hate some people have for X, X-2 maybe, but despite deviating it wasn't a bad game - if unnecessary. Then again I don't understand the supreme worship of VII either, but that's just me.
