It's a controversial week for gaming as two highly anticipated sequels debut with new developers at the helm. David expresses his reluctant appreciation for Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City while Nick stands in defense of Silent Hill Downpour, a game that he touts as one of the best sequels in the series recent history. Of course, it wouldn't be 4PP without some ridiculous tangents involving philosophical masturbation and Peter Molyneux. Oh, and Nick get's slapped! Don't forget to subscribe and download the newly launched "Audible Impressions" podcast for additional game impressions (Links below)!

In the end, it's all about personnal taste or how flexible you are. Reviews are here to warn but not stop you, i mean one may not like it but the other might. I think the only kind of person who has a strict view on games i would respect and understand more, are those who struggles to make ends meet. Rule is that if your not sure, you can always rent it, try the demo or watch other people play it and if you like it buy it. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to buying a new game, you can tell by looking at my collection. Hell, i still got a few games in their plastic wrap. One of them, Killzone 2 when it was still 59.99$ here in Quebec and that was a long time ago. My reasons: Too many games to play and a 160 Go is not enough. So in the end, it's all about taste and how much money you can spare.

P.S.: I don't care what people say... Brütal Legend was the greatest game ever made:D

I guess I shouldn't have standards for games because I have money. Better get to it and catch up on all those shovel ware games that I missed out.

[...] First, we have a derailment during a discussion about Silent Hill’s monster design from last week’s podcast  (Episode 263). Second, is an old clip of Brad stressing about possibly encountering nudity in a sex scene from [...]

About the Mass Effect 3 controversy, I think it's more of a concern of consumer rights. DLC at start up, and now DLC for another "good" ending. If companies start taking this kind of model to capitalize monetary gain then we as consumers will get f***ed over. I do understand it from a business perspective but seeing things like this from EA and other evil things from Activision, I feel like the gaming community is more looked down upon, since the CEO's and business guys doesn't really understand games. All they understand is money.
