It was unfortunate that Jack hadn't seen much of the E3 coverage, it might of sparked more conversation. Also you both had interesting views on the PlayStation hacking and what it means for other companies.
Overall I enjoyed it, just a shame that it ended abruptly.

The E3 show was good. Very surprised with quite a few things. How bad CoD3 looks. There is only so many explosions I can see before I stop thinking it looks great. Battlefield 3 on the other hand looks like it's finally step up to the plate. Looks like good singleplayer and I know great multiplayer. Should be head and shoulders above CoD3. Skyrims dragons are so good it's nearly a spoiler to look at them in unscripted action. The massive effect of shouts are just jaw dropping. The combat combinations are going to be hard to get board of. First person melee as never looked so good. Nintendo's new line up and 3rd party support looks amazing. They're going for core gamers. Hearing that BF3 is heading to Nintendo is nothing short of cool. Skyward Sword looks great. I personally love sword fighting on Wii Sports Resort, but that's very limited on gameplay. Skyward Sword looks to be a great game.

Less of a surprise is Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny. Love Rune Factory or hate it, Tides is a huge improvement on the last console entry. Some better features are; better faster fighting system, monster driven farming that encourages monster taming, lack of the 'runey' food chain system that half killed Frontier, easier to use map that tracks NPCs, unique travel and exploration not just for the series, etc. It's still Rune Factory, but Neverland is doing some new stuff which is always nice.

Unsurprising is WiiU, everyone seen it coming, but still a new way to handle gaming. Nintendo still leads the way in innovation. Kinect still isn't worth the money. Sony's Veta is nice, but I agree to much. It's trying to hard to beat the 3DS in the wrong way.

This years E3 was fun. I enjoyed it and would love it if 4PlayerPodcast could get out there one year. Can barely wait till the fall lineup hit stores and 4PlayerPodcast plays them with us.

Thanks for the podcast but the HL2 hack was totally different from the PSN one. This hacker got into Valve's servers thanks to Microsoft Outlook security flaws. Then, instead of just leaving a note saying "can I get a job as a security person? I love Half-Life" he stole bunch of HL2 source code etc. If that's not a bad thing, he then probably sent this stolen data to a "friend". Guess what? HL2 source code, levels and stuff was all over the interwebs. He didn't want to cause any trouble but he was stupid and young. He told about this to Valve and asked for a job after stealing and leaking all the information. One morning he was arrested in his home. "You're very lucky it was us who got you and not the FBI."

How the hell was others people's being stolen a 'grey' area situation? Peoples info were stolen and David wants to see what they did with that info? This guy man...
