During Microsoft's E3 conference, a montage was shown to display several new Indie titles coming to the Xbox One. Out of the games shown, one really stood out, not only because of the name, but also because of the visual style.
Cuphead is being developed by StudioMDHR via the ID@XBOX program. This game is advertised as a "Run and Gun & Fighting Game Hybrid" with handdrawn and inked visuals to recreate the look of a 1930's cartoon. From what little gameplay there is, it seems Cuphead is divided into several timed stages with the goal being to defeat all enemies on screen.
Personally, I grew up on Looney Tunes, so I'm a sucker for any game that recreates old, handdrawn cartoons. Be on the look out for Cuphead when it releases sometime in 2014.

I really love the look of this game. I'm sure it's coming to PC at some point though, so I look forward to it there.

I'm with you Frank, I grew up watching old cartoons and I absolutely love the visual style to this game. Looks like it'll be pretty fun.

They capture the rubberhouse look so well.

I looks real cool but I'm not so sure about the gameplay. Either way its something to look forward to.

It looks beautiful but I wonder if the gameplay will be enough to make me want to play it.
