I love many things in this world: my girlfriend, flourless chocolate cake, puppies. An easy addition to that list, something I am quite certain about, is my love for Guilty Gear. This is why I have anxiously waited for news of Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN’s release, and am so excited to see news confirming its upcoming localization.
Aksys will be heading up the effort to bring this installment over to America, exclusively for the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4. I expected to see a release some time in 2015, so news that I’ll be able to dive back into the most spectacularly heavy metal fighter on the market come this fall is very, very good news.
IGN reports 15 playable characters this time around, which is a downer. Guilty Gear XX, also known as The Best One, featured 20 at first and missing from this roster (for now) are Dizzy and Bridget, two personal favorites. New additions are to be expected in the inevitable updated releases, but for now I’ll have to suck it up while appreciating the refined mechanics and amazing presentation.

I've never played a Guilty Gear game before and I'm not that into fighters but from looking up videos I have come to the conclusion that I really like the art style and the characters look really cool so I'll be sure to keep an eye out for this and try to pick up some of the other games as well.
