Well. I'd be excited for Dark Souls II. But my problem with it is how difficult they are making it sound. I don't like the idea of losing max health from repetitive deaths. To me, that sounds like they're just going to overcomplicate the difficulty and it'll turn against them instead of working for them like it's been. Maybe I'm too doubting since From Software does do magic with this series.

My sights are mostly on USFIV and MGS: Ground Zeroes.

Wait, Creative Assembly? As in, Total War CA? I think they're good at talking up their ideas and making cohesive design concepts but I feel they don't have the actual talent to follow up on those cool ideas. At least, it'll be something different from the Alien games.

Great Trailer Talk Brad. I'm not really an Aliens fan so I can't speak about the franchise, but a horror game based off the original Aliens (and not the horror that was Colonial Marines) is a fantastic concept. Depending on reviews I might be interested in playing it.

Octodad always looked fun from the get-go, Dark Souls 2....what can I say? I've mostly avoided news about it for my own well-being, but who isn't excited for this game?

And the moment I saw a Bible in Daylight, that pretty much sparked my interest in it. I'm a fan of horror games, and if it's close to how Dreadout it, I will sure play it.

Octodad and games like it have never really tickled my fancy, but every other game in this video has certainly attracted my attention. I've been hyped for Dark Souls II ever since I saw the announcement trailer at what I want to say was the VGAs. Daylight and Alien: Isolation both look like worthy entries into the First-Person Horror genre, which I am so glad is actually a thing now. Those two games, combined with Routine, look like a trend in games I'll be keeping an eye on. Thanks to the folks at Frictional for doing us a service by summoning a swarm of similar titles. So far, we've seen some impressive and promising results from this genre boom, and that pretty darn cool.

Here's hoping that Isolation shows people how to handle an Alien(s) franchise title again. Whatever happened to stuff like AVP 2 from good 'ole Monolith? Too many games about fighting aliens that devolve into shooting dudes. Dead Space 3 and Colonial Marines both had that mistake in common, and you don't play games with names like that for space man vs space man combat. You're looking for some monsters to shoot, or possibly run and hide from, while pissing in the corner in a cool looking space suit that sadly doesn't recycle your body waste. Either way, too many shooting dudes, and I'm happy to see that there will be a decided absence of said dudes in these coming titles.
