Boy, inFAMOUS: Second Son is really coming along well.
Though not really a "launch window" title for the console anymore, it still comes at a solid time in the console's early days. The first six months of new console's life span rarely merit any "hardcore" gaming experiences, but the good folks at Sucker Punch appear to be putting out something awfully special here.
This is a development diary demonstrating the game's incredibly impressive vision of Seattle, as well as the remarkably intuitive game engine which has been built to make it all happen. It's all coming together so impressively that I have to agree with one of the developers who said he would probably use the PS4's Share button to just show off some of the gorgeous views.
Most importantly, however, is what our beloved Seattle-based Joseph Christ had to say:

My first thought when reading the title: "each one of these guys should have a big seal of approval stamp badge to attribute to events and/or games..."

I've been looking forward to this game since I saw the gameplay demo at E3 2013. That looked so beautiful and fun to play that I simply threw all of my money to the screen and yelled 'TAKE ALL OF IT! IT IS YOURS!' I've played inFamous 1 and 2, but I haven't really looked into Festival of Blood that much. I'm sure this one will be even better than the previous games!

Not enough gameplay here for me to show any interest in this and what little there was nothing really new. I guess it doesn't help I don't care at all for Joseph's opinion on games but for now I'm not really considering this game on my radar at all.

Not really a game I'm looking forward to, but my brother is most likely going to buy it. He played the other two Infamous games, but regrettably I didn't. I might play it though, who knows.

That really is an amazing looking world for sure. Second Son looks like it'll be awesome from what we've seen, but it's not too high up on my list of games to get at the moment.

Holy crap the game looks gorgeous. I think it's great that Sucker Punch is making the effort to create a believable Seattle.
