After watching and hearing about Banner Saga quite often, I came to the conclusion that the game is definitely up my alley. The fact that any one of your guys can die based on your choices makes it so appealing to me. In regards to Microsoft buying the Gears of War franchise, I couldn't really care. I have played the first two games and didn't really enjoy them. Great Chatter of the Week segment, I found myself laughing pretty hard as usual.

Great ep but I have to say what is with these chatter of the week segments they keep getting more crazier, I can't believe how dedicated Nick is to catching up to the 13 I on the other hand just stopped at the original. So far I'm okay with Shadows of Mordor but I have doubts that the nemesis system will work as well as they are stating. Glad to see the devs behind Unsung Story are finally sorting shit out and putting out some well needed info.

For some reason, the amount of hate the 13 games gets from the crew makes me sad. I really really like them and I'm quite excited for Lightning Returns.
The Crystarium in 13-2 is a bit more complicated than it was in 13, as leveling a class on certain nodes gives you different benefits so there is an optimal way to actually level up, even though you'll be weaker at the beginning.

A little late in commenting, but I'm so happy I managed to call the name of the cast! CotW was too much fun to listen to, and the in-depth discussion of the infamous Ratbag (Rabbeseking having now concluded his count) turned around some of my initial concerns concerning Shadows of Mordor. The Banner Saga apparently has a lot more on offer than I realized as well. Might end up giving it a look after all.
I want Monolith to do well here. One of my favorite developers, and they've been getting a bit of a bad reputation as of late. Hopefully this game does enough to come out of the shadows of the games that people are already sourcing it from. Fingers crossed on my end, but I'm looking forward to see what they can do with it.
