Telltale Games' The Wolf Among Us started off great. Brilliantly, even. Engrossing and stylish in all the right ways, "Faith" was an awesome first episode to what looks like a captivating and memorable new series.

If, of course, that series gets a new episode some day.

Telltale's (also brilliant) The Walking Dead stuck to a firm schedule of 4-6 weeks between episodes, staggering the story at just the right pace to build anticipation while giving players time to breathe and let the events sink in. Now almost two months from the release of Wolf's first episode, it's fair to say that we've all done enough breathing and sinking. Where, many have been asking, is our next episode?

This was sort of answered in this post on The Telltale Blog, with this statement tucked towards the end:

We're anticipating another update on its ETA for release very soon after the holidays, and we couldn't be more excited to continue this series with all of you.

So we can expect that two month wait to at the very least become a three month wait. Presumably to lessen the blow, they opted to spoil the arrival of a new character (Jack from the Jack and The Beanstalk fable, as depicted above) and put up two screenshots. Here's the other one.

That's... something.

I'm going to be honest, here: had I known this would be the schedule, there's no way I would have purchased a season pass months ago. I suspect I'm not the only one.

Honestly, it doesn't surprise me considering the evolution of the gameplay and how the story can unfold at your own whim. But...I miss Bigby, and I had waiting for so long because it'll make me forget the decisions I made--including the one where I "glassed" The Huntsman -.-

I wonder if this is done on purpose to avoid schedule conflict with TWD season 2.

Well damn it! Was actually far more interested in more of this than TWD. (But do not get this wrong, I do love TWD. But if given the choice I would rather be playing this right now than TWD, as this is a nice chance from Zombies.)

Between this, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Tales from the Borderlands, I wonder if Telltale is biting off more than they can chew. Hopefully quality won't take a hit through all these projects.

I was curious though when the second part to the first episode will be uploaded. The 4 Player Podcast played the first episode, but it cuts off after 50 minutes of play. In the description it says, "Want to see more from the game above? Watch the full play-throughs sorted by game over at (http://4playernetwork.com/gamesdb/games/)." Yet I don't see the other part of the episode here. Was it posted on YouTube? I can't seem to find it, AND I REALLY WANT TO SEE IT!
