Behold! CD Projeckt Red kicked off their private E3 demonstration of the Witcher 3 with this beautiful and haunting CG trailer. Like the unforgettable trailer for The Witcher 2, this CG cinematic sets the tone of the game beautifully and reassures the audience that Geralt is still one hell of a protagonist.
If you remember our E3 coverage of the Witcher 3, you will also remember that little else at the show this year blew our socks off quite like this game. It appears to be everything we have ever wanted from an open-world RPG and more. But in addition to a bevy of wonderful new mechanics, The Witcher 3 seems focused on delivering a memorable tale and establishing Geralt of Rivia as one of the great RPG protagonists of the generation. I have to admit, I get chills everytime I hear his reply when the poor sap asks what he is doing...
"Killing Monsters..."

I hope this is not just some fancy action CGI just to hype people and actually have these kind of events, these moral issues. Keep up the good work guys!

Really Cool trailer, especially since it really fits with the series in overall. There's reoccurring themes in the books (and the games) where you often learn that the humans can (and often are) far more cruel than monsters. Making them monsters themselves. Which is why my penis started tingling when he said "killing monsters" :3

I feel guilty watching this since the I have yet to finish either witcher games and it doesn't seem like I will in the near future.
