Hey, you know that open-world apocalypse survival game we all love here at 4Player, State of Decay? Well it seems you all love it as well since it has now officially sold over 500,000 copies, making it the fasting selling original XBLA game ever. That's a cool half million in the short time since its release. And in my opinion they totally deserve it. I'm working on the review now but I think we've all been pretty clear with our feelings here. Let's just say it gets an official Bob Webb Four Thumbs Up.
A patch for the game was released last Friday, but Undead Labs has announced that patch will need to be re-applied since it did not fix the Infestation issue it was put out to address. According to Jeff Strain the problem seems to be on the Microsoft side of the equation so keep tuned in for further updates.
Furthermore, Undead Labs have officially announced a PC version of the game currently in development and slated for release on Steam at a later date.

I'm really glad this game is doing well. Zombie games don't have to be bland.

I've been enjoying this game a lot. It's really addicting; it's hard to stop once you've started playing. Unfortunately I think I've gotten the infestation glitch. :( I'll just wait until the patch gets applied correctly.

Phew thank god the PC version is in development, I really wanted to try out this game for myself.

Undead Labs deserves all the success they are having. SoD is one of the best games that I have played all year.
