Joseph Christ and Chris Davis talk about the gameplay reveal of South Park and the Stick of Truth. And yes, the game does look like you're playing the TV show.

Haven't watched the show in a while but that may make the setting of the game more refreshing, plus old school final fantasy rpg gameplay is a yes for me.

After listening to you guys talk about the game, I'm much more excited for it now. I'm glad it still has that South Park charm to it and you can't go wrong with that Final Fantasy turn based gameplay.

I'm really glad to hear they've stuck with the turn based RPG system that looked to be the case from the early trailers onwards; it's easily to visualise the moves that Joseph and Chris are talking about here, and keeping it turn based should hopefully allow each individual attack to be noticed and enjoyed.
I can understand their slight worries as to whether the actual deeper levels of wit and satire from the show will be present in the game, but I'm optimistically hoping that the reason there was so much more of the 'bathroom humour' is because it's much easier to get quick chuckles from with just a short 15 minute demo.
In any case, still so hyped for this one.

I love turn based RPGs. It's sad that they've gone out of style. Have there been any other good turn based RPGs from this current generation?

Great interview which has gotten me even more hyped!

Wish there was some gameplay to watch but I might as well just watch an episode of South Park from the sounds of it.

I'm not too worried about the bowel humour as it's always been a part of South Park (Terrance & Phillip).

I'm just glad this game is still alive. I'm really excited to play this and laugh at some more of the south park humour. I hope we get to fight ManBearPig at some point as well.

    Ha ha! Farts!

Can't wait for this game, love the show, disappointed it was delayed with the whole THQ ordeal.
