Even I was taken for a moment by this fake Half Life 3 website which makes it look like the games' entry on Steam. The only thing in this to tip you off is the web address. Sternpowered.com. Notice how the R and N look like an M? Not only that, but the entire site functions just like Steam, with the links taking you to their correct Steam counterparts. That's actually the first thing I checked.
So there ya go...here's what it might look like if Half Life 3 was announced. At least you have some nice music to listen to while your dreams are unceremoniously crushed under the boot of someone elses creativity. Personally, I think that making fake Half Life 3 websites is what Gabe Newell actually does in his office all day. And laughing. Lots of laughing.

If you click on the >Half-Life 3, right next to >Action Game, it links to a real page on steam called Contagion.

Well this was a long time ago but I knew this song was part of the half-life 2 soundtrack even though I only think the very beginning is in the game. Using Ctrl+ Shift + J on chrome I found a youtube link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=6uN3dxJRnss here you go.
