Nice podcast. I must have missed out on a lot of Infinite's easter eggs the way you guys kept mentioning them. :( I thought the enemy designs were pretty sweet but the Firemen had too much health. Very ambient sound design though, have to agree, the first time entering Columbia was fantastic. At first I thought Slate's arc was just filler until I reached the end and learned the truth about Comstock and then it all made sense. I think they switched realities a bit too quickly when they introduced that possibility though. Would have been interesting to see what else had changed.

Still say they should have called it "ShyShock".

SystemShock was in space, BioShock was underwater, and now we have SkyShock in the air.

Also, did not like this game; played twice and the ending makes no sense now. The map design was not as good as BioShock, Elizabeth's whole "toss you stuff" scene breaks the flow of the game, Elizabeth has none of those cool powers from the gameplay "demo", the skyline system barely has anyone ever riding on it (not to mention enemies never chase you on it!) and is less expansive then the "demo" showed.

My biggest complaint is that Elizabeth's role is to hand you ammo and an odd item every now and then and to lean against walls, compared to her roles in the "demo" she is practically a mannequin with a dispenser ability.

This is sullying the name of BioShock, little sisters are crying and their big daddies aren't even dead!

Best part was the BioShock easter egg, just wish Andrew Ryan's voice could have been heard saying his famous "A man chooses, a slave obeys."

This was a good podcast with some really interesting discussions. But one part irked me enough to address.

"I always kind of think about that in a realistic way...Especially since we have two females on this spoilercast--just think about what it would be like, as a female, to go through puberty and go through bodily changes, as girls do, alone in this tower with nothing but a fucking songbird to try and, I don't know know, give you tampons or something. I can only imagine how difficult that could be. So I understand exactly why you kind of are attracted to that relationship, right?"

What? Really? This is how you want to open up the discussion on the dynamic relationship the player has with Elizabeth--that female players are going to feel especially close to her because they know what it's like to have a period? Do you feel like you have a deeper personal connection to Master Chief because you can relate to how it must have felt for him to go through bodily functions, as all boys do, and having to imagine what it would have been like for him to have his balls drop in deep space? I just can't get over how incredibly irrelevant that entire point was. I can't even tell if you were joking or if that was a legitimate conclusion you drew. Either way, it makes you sound like you are not yet old enough to purchase Infinite without an accompanying adult.

Other than that, though, this really was a very enjoyable podcast.
