Square Enix, in a rare showing of giving their customers what they're actually asking for, is working with Nintendo to bring their already beloved -and thus far Japan-only- Bravely Default: Flying Fairy to North America.

A story-driven, custcene-filled strategy RPG, Bravely Default has been the request of many a US fan right up there with the still Japan-only Final Fantasy Type-0. This news is quite welcome, as the game was very well-received in Japan, and Fire Emblem: Awakening has shown that high-quality strategy RPGs can really succeed on the system.

A release date wasn't specified, but Nintendo doesn't expect the game to release until 2014.

This is one of the games that I was hoping would get localized. Glad to see they're actually getting it done.

Wonder why Europe is getting it in 2013 though. Not complaining though, we usually get the shaft when it comes to release dates.

Never heard of this game before but was very intrigued from the trailer, hope to see more of this.
