Weekend! What are you playing?

Weekend! Hurray! And, it's the weekend before Dead Space 3 get's released upon us. No matter how you feel about those microtransactions, I'm sure most of us will at least be trying it out when Tuesday comes.
Here's what we've been playing this weekend. What about you?

Nick Henderson: My weekend will be all about Ni No Kuni! Despite the problems we discussed on our most recent podcast, the game still charms my pants off... literally... every time I play it. Aside from making progress on that front, I will be popping in Demon's Souls again. Watch in awe as I spend the first hour trying to re-learn the game systems! Dead Space 3 next week... so EXCITED. |

Bob Webb: Fortunately my weekend is brilliantly Kinect free so I might actually be able to relax with some good games. I'm hoping to end up beating Dragon's Dogma to cap that epic adventure off. I still need to pull out Dead Space 2 to get done with that before Dead Space 3 drops though that's highly unlikely. I'm also writing my own game and working on Phase 2 of the site so that always consumes my free time. |

Chris Davis: For some reason some higher power has deemed the past few days to be ones filled with debilitating allergy conditions for me but I believe I’m starting to come out of it just in time for the weekend. This week the Crysis 3 multiplayer beta dropped for everyone and I’ve been looking forward to jumping back into the nanosuit. Saturday night I will be having my first 4Player InebriNATION since 2012 (provided I don’t have a resurgence of sinus problems) so check in Saturday at 7pm for that. |

Joseph Christ: OK so I didn't finish Alan Wake like I thought I would last week so maybe I'll try again? The combat though. It's great for the first few hours but just become tedious after awhile. Game really needs less of that. I'm also playing the MGR demo quite a bit, and loving it the more I play it. |

Nolan Hedstrom: In preparation for our January Subscriber of the Month Podcast I will be playing some Phantom Dust for MrObilivion. I will also be casting some Metal Gear Solid 2 in my quest to play through all the MGS games before Metal Gear Rising comes out in only a couple of weeks! If I find some spare time besides those I will also continue playing Ni No Kuni to see if I can become the greatest Wizard who's ever become a Pokemon Master! |

I'm trying to beat Sly 3 before I get Sly 4 next week. But goddamn all these stupid mini games are painful. Really hope the new developers know what was bad about the old games so they don't do the same shit for 4.
Link / ReplyI started playing the Path of Exile open beta a couple days ago, so I'll be continuing that. It's pretty good, but the skills aren't very interesting so far. The passive sphere grid type thing is kinda cool, though.
Link / ReplyAs of Thursday, I am now 21! I've held back from playing the Witcher 2 on Thursday so that I can watch subscriber-OGN with a Dos equis in my hand. thank you 4PN for being such chill dudes. To sum it all up, I've been playing Witcher 2 (my birthday present), wrapping up Rouge Galaxy before I give it back to my friend, and Far Cry 3. Im definitely going to start my millionth playthrough of my favorite game of all time; Ilusion of Gaia during this week.

Link / ReplyAlright yesterday I got a controller that works with some PC games so I've mostly been playing games compatible with that today to test it out, later I'm most likely going to try and finish persona 4 and after that play some spelunker HD (most likely alone because no one gets online in this game anymore) or something along those lines. Sunday I don't know if I'm going to play much of anything since the puppy bowl is on and that's a yearly tradition of mine, if anything it'll most likely wind up being some new super mario bros U or one of the tycoon games I got recently.

Link / ReplyPicked up the GOTY Edition of Red Dead Redemption for only £11 today. I did finish it back when the game was released but I started another playthrough on Hardcore Mode which is turning out to be a great challenge!

Link / ReplyPicked up Legend of Grimrock on the steam sale. It sucked me in real deep and I didn't realise how much of a horror game it can be at some moments. Pick it up if you havn't already.
