To be honest, I'm not exactly sure what Deathmatch Village is. It's self-described as a 'Redneck MOBA' in production at Freeky Games with things like “Pig-Snatching”, a “trusty donkey for everyone” and “interactive areas”. But what really get's my interest is their claim that they are the first game studio to motion capture a pig.

WE GOT PIG MOTION CAPTURE UP IN HERE!

The idea might not be as silly as it seems. As technology becomes cheaper it might as well become more cost effective to motion capture even simple animations rather than have an animator spend hours upon hours trying to get it right by hand. In fact, why not motion capture everything, just make a business out of motion capturing stuff and selling the animations to development studios? Holy. Crap. I'm going to be rich. Someone buy me 20 grand in motion capture equipment STAT.

Watch the video below to catch some of that hot, motion captured pig action.

You can tell they are proud as hell..... Being the first game studio to motion capture a pig. This is rather interesting though.
