Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem for WiiU Announced

Well, here's something I don't believe anyone was expecting. A JRPG that crosses Shin Megami Tensei with Fire Emblem is coming to the WiiU. Really no details were given, but there is a trailer that came with the announcement showcasing characters from both series. I have to wonder just what the premise behind this game will be. I mean, for one, Fire Emblem is a Medieval Fantasy and SMT is set in modern day Japan. I'm actually interested to see just how these characters will come together and the interactions that would follow. This is one title that certainly makes the WiiU more enticing.

I just... I don't... is this really a thing? It's neat, but it's just so surprising.
Link / ReplyWow. We're getting closer to me even considering picking up a WiiU. It's not there yet, but this is definitely a marquee title. Let's see if they can build on it and make a respectable library of games for the console.
Link / ReplyWow the catalogue for the Wii U just keeps improving.
Link / ReplyOh Shit! SMT 1,2,If...,3, and 4 characters!? However the main SMT is turnbased combat, while Fire Emblem is strategy rpg. I think this may play like a Devil Survivor game. Japanese Wii U titles look better and better.
Link / ReplyWith this and the new Xenoblade it looks like I'll have to look into getting a Wii-U now
