Oh look! A Killer is Dead trailer

By Jeffrey Demelo on January 18th, 2013 (7 comments)

Grasshopper & Suda51’s recently unveiled their next game, Killer is Dead -the third of their assassin games- to Famitsu, and today Kadokawa presented the first trailer.

To my surprise, Killer is Dead seems to be a lot less “rockabilly-punk rock” than the previous assassin games, and presents a much more serious-tone, for lack of a better word. Suda’s games bleed his personality, so I’d expect nothing less here. The trailer is intriguing, to say the least; spiking my interest in the main character, Mondo Zappa, and those surrounding him.

Check it out for yourself below.

I like what i'm seeing. I hope the combat is more fluid than previous efforts because it definitely has the style that I have come to expect from a Suda game.

After enjoying the fuck out Shadows of the Damned, I'm so ready to play another Grasshopper Manufacture game. Cyber punk style, katanas, mega busters, and a remix of Dvorak New World Symphony 4th Movement? I'm so exciiiteeeeed!!!

Honestly, I'm excited but after Lollipop Chainsaw I'm also worried.

Agreed. Hopefully the combat has more layers than LC.

Well be excited to play this game for the story and Suda's writing though I can't exactly say I expect the combat to hold up.
