Ah, Bayonetta. Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? If it's a ridiculously hot one, that'll work just fine for a comparison.

SEGA has announced on their blog that Bayonetta will be released for the Playstation Network on the January 29th. Only asking $19.99 for US and £14.99 for European players is well worth Platinum Games' insane and skilled witch ride.

SEGA hasn't released any information about fixing the frame rate drops in the Playstation 3 version of Bayonetta.

With the announcement of Bayonetta 2 being an exclusive for the Wii U along with the recent news of the Wii U having it's own digital shop, perhaps Bayonetta will also see a digital retail on the Nintendo eShop one day.

They may be trying to gauge the interest in a Bayonetta 2. Platinum may decide to pull a Team Ninja and release a Bayonetta 2 Sigma if the demand is high enough.

And didn't they fix the framerate drops later for the PS3 with that patch that let you install the game or was that only for the longer load times?

I think I saw Kamiya say that the PSN release of Bayonetta will address the problems of the original PS3 port.
