Leading up to the release of Hotline Miami, the developers set up a real-world telephone number -based in Florida of course- that people could really call or text. It was a nice Breaking of the 4th Wall touch that people like Hideo Kojima excel at, and one that seems to have been much more popular during the early days of gaming than it is today.

If you were one of the many who left messages do not fear, they've been saving them and are playing them back to us now. Of course, this is PR we're talking about and even for a game as brutal as Hotline Miami can be, I'm sure that these messages are the most tame of the tame. Personally I'd like to hear the really crazy stuff. Maybe in due time.
