Hey remember rage? Most of us thought it was just 'meh'. Chris Davis loved it, and we all agreed that it had some of the best animation we've seen this generation. We're also in agreement that it came out a year ago and it would be really weird if there was going to be some new DLC released for it now.

Get ready for weird.

Joystiq recently noticed through PS3Trophies.org  that 10 new trophies are going to be added to the game which will most likely be called 'Rage: The Scorchers,'  if this PEGI Listing has any validity to it. But this sure is a lot of footwork to track down DLC for a year-old game. Especially when the DOOM BFG edition has just come out and people are wondering where in the world Doom 4 is.

It's also a little strange of Bethesda to be supporting Rage at this point seeing as it didn't exactly burn up the sales charts when it was first released, and whose PC version was riddled with problems from the beginning. This is especially true after Bethesda/Zenimax stated publically that they were going to be more careful with their releases after a litany of bombs -including games like Hunted: The Demon's Forge and Brink- threatened to do some real damage to the publisher. And now Bethesda also has a Prey 2 in limbo on their books as well.

I always thought the DOOM BFG edition was a strange project for id to be doing and now putting out Rage DLC, of all things, raises my speculation that something strange might be going on with that studio.

Stay tuned.

Well DLC has always been Bethesda's specialty; the very first DLC on Xbox Live was the infamous Horse Armor.

Amazing I have this game laying around somewhere. . . . Not sure I will pick up DLC for it, but it might be something worth looking into.

Maybe Rage is being released for the Wii U and it comes with some extra content. To make other people happy they're selling the extra content as DLC for the other platforms. My speculation on it, but it sounds most plausible.

Maybe Doom 4 has been pushed into next gen & the devs are just biding their time with HD ports & DLC. Hopefully that's whats going on with Prey 2 as well. Next gen is going to be sweet. I just hope game prices don't go up. That & I'd like the consoles to be a bit cheaper so I can actually get a new Xbox & Playstation day one. A girl can dream.
