See that up there? That's a real screenshot from the profile of someone who has been banned for cheating in BF3. When you search their page, that's what you see.

As if simply being banned for cheating in BF3 was not a deterrence enough, DICE is now adding a public message of shame to those caught doing the nasty outside of the rules. Questions remain as to if these is a permanent mark, or if it goes away once the ban has been completely lifted. Personally, it would be nice if there was some sort of 'mark of shame' that remained permanent on banned accounts -and was also visible in-game as well- but I'm not sure if this is technically even possible.

For now, though, this will do.

    When will people realise not to mod on any multiplayer games. There are just too many risks in games.
