One thing is for certain, Assassin's Creed 3 is shaping up quite nicely. The series has come such a long way since the days of painstakingly drudging through boring and repetitive missions. With each iteration, the developers have added new layers of enjoyment to experience. With a team devoted to developing the next numbered entry in the series for the past 3 years, Assassins Creed 3 looks to be the biggest departure for the series yet. Ubisoft unveiled a new, developer narrated demo at Comic Con this week and showed off a lot of what fans can expect from the title when it his shelves on October 30.

So far, everything seems improved over it's predecessors with one small exception. I am a bit concerned about the enemy AI and their refusal to interrupt you when attacking someone else. Rocksteady wasn't afraid to challenge the player by forcing them to deal with multiple enemies at once so why should Ubisoft shy away from the challenge? It seems like every other aspect of the game has been fleshed out and smoothed out tremendously. I just hope this doesn't become too noticeable as the game forces you into bigger and bigger combat scenarios.

The frontier demo seemed to indicate multiple enemies will attack at once, even if this one doesn't.

The Brits need more Rapier action. Every Officer should have one!

I don't know, I liked the naval combat video more... even if the weather changed so radically in the span of a three minute video.

Why, o why cant they make the combat challenging. the assassins creed series is so good damn easy. In assassins creed brotherhood i was supposed to run away from like 50 guards but i just said fuck it and killed everyone of them without getting hit and that is some straight up bullshit.

i love the series to death but man the combat annoyingly easy.
