ChatChat is an oddly compelling online game where you play as a cat by Terry Cavanagh and Hayden Scott-Baron. One plays as a cat (or possibly a dog if you find the secret room or are caught) and runs around a 2D environment searching for mice, chasing each other and generally just playing around. The idea is strange enough and, despite its jumpy movement, playing it is really amusing: being chased by a dog (playing tag in essence), climbing a tree to get away from the dog, napping in said tree so the dog can’t reach you, and then later meeting the dog and playing music together. It all sounds rather silly (and it is) but it is charming in a way one doesn’t expect, and I’ve found myself spending way more time with it than I believed that I would.

    Why isn't this called CatChat?

    Makes no sense.

As if I get caught playing this at the end of my shift at work. No worries, I'm living in a magical cat world now. I don't even like cats.
