Trials Evolution Leaked to Torrent Sites

Trials HD was dropped onto the Xbox Live Arcade in 2009 and, at least here at 4Player, easily stands out as one of the most funstrating games we've ever played.  We've been eagerly anticipating the sequel and while developer RedLynx has promised a 2012 release for its sequel, Trials Evolution, it seems some advantageous hooligans have gone and made it available a lot sooner than intended.

Over the weekend, Youtube videos began popping up showing off gameplay of Evolution.  RedLynx has since confirmed with website Develop that the game has been leaked to torrent and pirating websites but that they were not responsible for the leak.  This contradicts RedLynx's previous actions which included releasing a copy of Trials 2 to torrent sites in order to drum up publicity for Trials HD's impending release three years ago.  Regardless, this leak seems to have come from an internal source at the developer as press preview copies have yet to be released.

Given that little has been shown of Trials Evolution as of late I'm including the newest official gameplay footage released on 1/19.  I'm not going to encourage you to torrent the unfinished build of the game but I would say that, if you're going to do so, please buy it when it comes out.  Evolution is sure to be fun and RedLynx deserves to be paid for the work they put into it.
