I dunno guys, I liked how you had to watch a 30 minute tutorial on how to play the game instead of it teaching you through gameplay. No sarcasm at all. None. Zero.

This finalizes it. Joseph is a masterful wordsmith. He's so good that his middle finger says it all for him. God damn, I want that middle finger.

Btw- u guys should make a big sign saying SOPA and everyone in 4pp taking a picture giving it middle finger....it would be sweet and shows clearly where u stand.

Worst game I have ever bought on Steam... still love Bethesda tho... the concept of moving freelier through the enviroment is nice.. character customizing is also great... but the gameplay... worst of all...

Summed up my thoughts on it. Splash Damage! Why could the game not be more like Wolfenstein! That game is spectacular!

I have 70 hours of game time (at least that's what Steam says) invested in Brink, and had modest levels of fun with the game. The thing is, I bought the game a month after it was released for only 20 dollars, and knew what type of game I was getting. I'm not quite sure how the console version's experience matches up with the PC version. I do know that Section 8 Prejudice came out at around the same time last year, and could have used the brute marketing force that Brink had.

The one Bethesda game that I don't own, and never will.

I just could not enjoy this game. I tried pretty hard too. This thing was just miserable.

I agree completely. The point made at the first 0 and the second 0 after the dash are great support for the score. Great review.

Though, really I didn't buy Brink. I pride myself on knowing if a game is good or not by looking at sites like this. Brink just doesn't fit the mold of a good game.

I was one of the poor (read: stupid) souls who pre-ordered Brink. As much as I tried liking it and convincing myself of its great potential, I couldn't believe it.Fuck Brink. I regret spending 60$ for it.

Leave it to Joseph to give us an in-depth and well thought out review that perfectly articulates the games complete and total mediocrity.

I rented it the week it came out. It's not bad for a rental tbh, I was able to finish the game in a day but still had fun with it for the full 3 day rental. It is definitely not worth the full $60 it was at the time, and nor is it still worth the $20-$30 it's on for right now. This game should've been at most a $10 Downloadable game.

from what i understand, the pc version is better than the xbox version. i can see that being true.
