The more I see of Syndicate the more excited I get. In the bloated shooter world we live in Starbreeze Studios really needed to bring something new to the table, and it seems like they are going to do it. Syndicate feels like Deus Ex with 30cc's of straight testosterone injected into its balls...and I'm liking the way that feels.
This new trailer shows off the offensive maneuvers that utilizing tech offers you. From blowing up enemies guns, making them commit suicide, sending viruses into their tech; you basically are playing the bad guy from a bad-ass sci-fi movie.
My favorite part of the trailer comes when they say that an integral part of your missions is stealing other people's tech by driving a tool into their eye which sends wires into their brain. Not, 'don't get seen' or 'steal this file.' It's 'MAKE SURE YOU JAB THIS INTO SOME DUDES FACE.'

The first trailer I saw of this was during the first Trailer Talk and it looked okay, a bloodier Deus Ex kind of thing. After watching this I'm pretty hyped for it to come out. Can't wait to jab my thing into everyone's face! :D

Sexy as fuck, though not much of a tribute to the original game. Then again, EA must be focusing more on how to make this accessible to core audiences rather than catering to the fans of the original. Sleazy move, but it doesn't make their effort into making an interesting IP seem lacking.

God damn it I was just getting excited about this then it gets refused classification (banned) in Australia. :( When the hell are we getting that R18 rating!? I'm this close to just importing every bloody thing.
