Well how's that for a Happy New Year? It's just been announced, via the Mass Effect facebook, that demo for Mass Effect 3 will be hitting in January of 2012. The demo will have both single and multiplayer portions, allowing players to get a true sense of what ME3 will have to offer.
It'll be good to see what's in store for the series. And as much as people have been feeling a bit negative about the MP portions of the game, I think that coop might be a good addition to the series as a whole. Now if we can just get some more of those RPG elements put back into the series.

I would love to experience the demo and see what Mass Effect has to offer since I haven't played any of the games yet. Im looking forward to this.

Oh wow, I can't wait to try out this demo. Been really curious about the Multiplayer and will be awesome to see what they're doing with it.

I just picked up Mass Effect 2 and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I'm definitely excited to see that a demo is coming.

I just hope the demo doesn't give away much of the story. If it does I can still try out the multiplayer :)

Negative feelings on the multiplayer? the whole ME3 experience is giving me negative feelings considering ME2 sold well....eww

Apparently if you get the limited edition of Battlefield 3 you can get early access to the demo! Which...I'm not going to do. But there might be some other task they'll announce later this year: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/324/index/8554052/1

I can't wait for this game. One of the games in 2012 that I am excited about.
