Since David was unable to make it for this week's podcast, Jack joins the group for the weekly show for the first time. In true rockstar fashion, he uses his first opportunity on the show to discuss Raw Danger! In other news, Singularity is amazing despite being "the most remarkable unremarkable game." The intricacies of shooting giants bugs is discussed in reference to two different titles as well. Chatter 4 the Week comes to you straight from Brad's ass this week and random, off-topic discussions are abound as usual. Hit the download button (and the subscribe button while you're at it), tune out the world, and join us for more gaming discussion than you could shake a stick at!

Hell yes, Chrono Cross music! Let me be the first to request some Chrono Trigger music for a future podcast, Yasunori Mitsuda is a god.

I greatly look forward to listening to this, not least because it's another chance to listen to Jack's wacky accent.

    Brutal Legend and Jack?

    Label me excited.

With the slew of guest stars, 4PP is quickly becoming The Muppet Show of my later teens.

Cheers guys, waiting for iTunes, as always.

Seconding the cheers for Chrono Cross music! One of the most beautiful VG OSTs ever. I went to a game music concert last month and felt like I was the only one who cheered when they announced the Chrono Trigger/Cross piece... I guess I'm getting "old." Sounds like they need to make Chrono Break...

I need to play Deus Ex... I bought it off of Steam when it was dirt cheap, but my laptop is a piece of crap. And I'm interested in Theatrhythm because I love VGBGM, but there is no way I'm ever going to pick up a 3DS.

I know there's a later post for that, but I'm so going to send some posters/memorabilia. I'm kinda sad I threw away all of my gaming magazines when I moved...

Also a great job to Jack!

I disagree with Nolan that you can't have boss battles in Minecraft. There's plenty of mods available that add RPG elements to the game, even NPCs that will build their own towns and give quests; not to mention the upcoming Adventure update that will add incentives to explore including NPC villages. There's also dungeons already in the game that will endlessly spawn enemies.

After a while in game you have some good weapons and you can deal with any hostile mob you encounter with ease; so other than falling into a pit of lava there's no reason to be worried about digging recklessly into the ground. I think the chance of encountering a powerful boss deep under the surface of the world would be a very exciting mechanic to add to the game.

Matsuno joining Level 5 is a very good thing. Perhaps there will be job classes in Dark Cloud 3?

Bravo Brad on the 'Barking Dogs Never Bite' Mention. I thought of that movie right away after I heard the dog barking in another apartment room. Good movie, and great direction (Joon-Ho Bong). Have you seen any of his newer films like 'The Host' or 'Mother'?
