Hitman 5 is more than just a rumor now. No my illustrious friends, those rumors have now congealed, solidified and taken on a life of their own. In the hot sun they have sewn themselves together and become Hitman: Absolution.
The new game will once again feature the iconic Agent 47, as he goes about murdering, assassinating and learning a little something about himself in the process. "For the first time we are taking Agent 47 on a personal journey which allows us to explore other parts of the Hitman fantasy," whispered Tore Blystad of IO Interactive, director of the game. "This is both a familiar and yet significantly different experience from other Hitman games; something our silent assassins will relish, as will all those new to the Hitman world." Mr. Blystad then proceeded to strangle a waiter, don his clothing, and hide the body.
A behind closed doors demo of Hitman: Absolution (henceforth shortened to "HA!") will be shown at this years E3. We'll bring you reports on the progress of the game from E3 as soon as Brad stops hyperventilating after leaving the showroom.
Oh...and they released a teaser trailer today as well. It's quite a tease!

Very excited, I love the Hitman series. Hopefully it will somehow surpass the fucking awesomeness that Blood Money.

Great stuff, looking forward to this one very much. Looking forward to Brad (and hopefully then Carlos too) playing it on the feed as well. I got so much enjoyment out of seeing Brad get through the game one way, then seeing Doofman: Carlos Edition!

To be honest I've never played a Hitman game before but always wanted to, maybe this will finally be my first one and then I can try to get myself into the series.

After thinking about it, the snake could symbolize Agent 47's current position in the world, he'll have to be on the defensive when going through any contract or personal mission, it would be really neat if there's a possibility of Agent 47 getting hunted down/assassinated on any mission.
