New Battlefield 3 Trailer

You know what added to the immersion and atmosphere? No music running in the background when they were talking during and after the fight, and it didn't sound as if recorded by a mic in a studio.

Looks pretty good although I don't think my excitement will go into overdrive until we see some of the now series-famous destructible environments.
Still, it's early days, I trust them to make the game pretty damn solid regardless of that.

I'd also like to see how the whole "Tremors" and possible Earthquakes pan out in this as well.

If the next generation game consoles look as good as this does on the PC, I'd be a happy guy.

That shooting looks so janky. It's like only the first bullet of each burst gets anywhere close to where you want it because the gun shakes so damn much, and that's WITH iron-sights.

The shooting seemed ok to me, didn't look like Battlefield shooting, but it's probably different cause that's how a gun may handle in real life.

I imagine that little hint about being close to "a major fault line" will have something to do with a lot of the gameplay. In the GameInformer article, it said that they would be using earthquakes at some point during the game. Now I'm just wondering what the power of the Frostbite 2 engine can do, in terms of destructibility.

ughh....that scope makes me cringe. the campaign does looking very appealing, but based on how this thing runs, I can speculate that the multiplayer will be a blast! can't wait to see more!

I jizzed. That audio was amazing, I know GI said it was good, but sweet Jesus that was beautiful. And the graphics... The graphics look next to real life. I swear to god if there was no hud and gun and I had walked into that in the middle I would sincerely have thought, at least for a second, that it was real life footage. I want this game like right the fuck now!

That was great. Great environment sounds and atmosphere too. Though I'd love to see some Multiplayer action though. If it's as tense as this video I will be thoroughly pleased.

Nothing less than amazing. It looks so realistic! Makes me want to play this and I generally dislike shooters.

looks cool but I'm really tired of all these modern battlefield warfare shooter games. OH its so REALISTIC AHHH BONER... -_- jk jk. The multiplayer for the Battlefield series has always been excellent though and I am pumped for that.

The voice acting still seems weak, which was the biggest problem in BC2, but everything else is looking pretty good ^^
