Mary Demaro, the narrative game designer on Deus Ex: Human Revoluion, takes us through a mission in three different ways to show off the multipath, multisolution, gameplay.

I'm getting more excited about this game the more I see it.  The transitions between first and third person seem very smooth which is pinnacle in a game like this. I'm just happy to see that it looks like they got it right.  I also like the lack of music. Though this may just be the case because it's a narrated walkthough, I hope it stays like that in the main game. It really adds to the tension of the mission.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is released on August 23, 2011 in North America, August 26, 2011 in Eurpose and August 25th in Australia.

interesting. i like how they are allowing for player creativity, and it looks like it's still linear enough so you aren't spending hundreds of hours on this game. i am hoping as you level up, the levels start containing more choices of which path to take.

I think the game should've been in 3rd person only... The 1st person parts just look a little off to me

Had my eye on this one since the first teaser trailer. Deux Ex looks like a Metal Gear game, but with blend of Ghost in the Shell. I think this will be great if they add enough game play to it.

I hope they don't make a shitty port for the PC version of this, bear in mind thats where this franchise came from. If they pull it off well, the PC version of this could easily be my GOTY.

I don't know, looks pretty generic. I wish it was more open world like the first Dues Ex.

This gameplay video is very refreshing. Looks like a Deus Ex game to me. I hope it to be an excellent blend of gameplay, story, choice/consequence, and atmosphere like the original was. By the way if any of you haven't played the original, try it out. People keep trying to compare this game to others games like Metal Gear Solid but if you play the original you will see that the Deus Ex game is something fairly different. Hopefully $10 over Steam won't kill you. ;)

Playing through the first Deus Ex for the first time myself one thing I am worried about is that I hope the game does not fall for modern level design and keeps the 90's level design. This video helps that fact because she shows the roof access. Basically I want this game to avoid the straight path, the same way every time, cutscene here, cutscene there, that SO MANY FUCKING combat games are doing these days (Bullet Storm, MW-BLOPS, Dead Space, F.E.A.R).

Cool, one question, probably gonna make me sound like a dumbass. Is it only coming out for PS3, is it on Xbox 360 also? Not a huge fan of Deus Ex, but I would like to try this one.
