Another trailer for Battlefield 3 has been released. A continuation of the original Fault Line trailer, it takes your squad to the roof of one of the nearby skyscrapers where they have to deal with a well-positioned sniper.  We're starting to get a real good look at the single player gameplay mechanics and the engine now, but I feel that we're still just being given small tastes which will crescendo into a huge reveal. We still haven't really seen the true muscle of the Frostbite 2 engine at work, and I think we are slowly being led up to that moment.

    This is quickly becoming some of the best chain of previews for a game I've seen. The lack of music and the sound of the game make them so immersive. Really looking forward to this.

    I like how they're releasing these small game play trailers. Game trailers that show off game play always gets me more excited than regular trailers.

    I would love to have this on my PC, but the more I'm seeing of the game, the less likely I think I'll be able to run this. I'll probably have to opt for a console version when this game comes out.

    Eat your heart out, COD.

    I'm loving the minimalistic approach in this trailer. You're not being bombarded with tanks and helicopters, it's just a small squad of soldiers and ONE sniper. Reminds of Full Metal Jacket's sniper scene a little: So much tension for a relatively small-scale situation.

    I'm glad they aren't going for a pre-rendered cinematic that won't be in the game and is made just to advertise the game. I always disliked when games do things like that.

    In the moments up the that climax you almost forget that its running off that frostbyte tech.
    looks like DICE has really upped the showmanship this time around.

    Jospeh, this is a much bigger deal than your making it out to be. If you look closely what they've done here is in fact show how good the Frostbite 2 actually is. If you look at the wall there is actual damage where ever the bullet has hit, not just some cosmetic damage or universal damage, but real damage caused by the sniper shooting the it. That is amazing. This footage is beatiful, and I really need this game, like right now.

    When it came up saying ''Episode 3 - March 30th' I actually looked up at my Calender and counted the days. I've never had a 'trailer' for a game make me do that before. One day before I move out to my new flat too, whoop!

    2011 is shaping up nicely;

    LA Noire
    BF3
    Skyrim
    Dark Souls
    Twisted Metal

    Good God, 2011 is a good year. If the boner I already have gets any bigger, I think I could be done for raping the air around me.
