EA's conference today revealed several important dates, among them being the release date for Alice: Madness Returns.
Set ten years after the first game Alice is still dealing with the traumatic death of her parents'. Their deaths are what sparked Alice's rapid descent into insanity. In an effort to put an end to her mental instability she returns to Wonderland once again in order to root out the source of her madness and determine what truly happened to her parents. Wonderland's world is influenced by Alice's wavering psyche, creating a twisted, grotesque reflection of the Wonderland we all read in books. Thankfully not everything in Wonderland is out to kill her. Alice is aided by the spindly Cheshire Cat, returning from the previous game in order to offer his advice once again.
Alice: Madness Returns will be available on the PC, 360, and PS3 on June 14th. It's definitely going to be a busy month. Check out the latest trailer below:

FINALLY! Someone is paying attention to this game. Yet, to be honest, this trailer was already out for some long time.
But anyway, it's nice to see this game back under 4PPs spotlight. Though, it's hard not to see this game will be overlooked. I mean, Skyrim, Dead Island, ME3, some other well-known IP sequels...they will all drown this maybe wonderful game that amazingly captures Lewis Carrol's children story into a macabre, messed up world, like it's (overlooked) predecessor did.

As a huge fan of the 2010 movie (It was also the only one I saw) and the Alice Is Dead game from Newgrounds, I am SO looking forward to this. Thank you for posting! :)

Gonna be similar to what I said on the Shadows of the Damn article. Awesome! I want this, but why must everything be coming out at the same time. This means Alice, Shadows, and Catherine in the same month. My wallet hurts already.

Oh wonderful! I wondered what would ever come out first. The (rumored) movie of the first one or a sequel. I'm happy its the latter of the two.

I totally remember playing this game when I was like, 10 or 11, totally freaked me out. XD But I liked it.
In my opinion, twisted and messed up is how Alice in Wonderland really should be. :D
