I was pretty bummed when I first heard that Motorstorm: Apocalypse was taking the races out of nature and moving them into urban environments. Motorstorm: Pacific Rift may have the best tracks I've ever seen in a racing game, and I was sure it had something to do with teetering along the edges of cliffs, rivers, and volcanoes. After watching the videos below, I realize now that it isn't the paved roads that bore me in other racing games -- it's the developers. Maybe I was wrong to doubt the Motorstorm team, because Motorstorm: Apocalypse looks even more ridiculous than its predecessors.

The quality isn't amazing, but below are full races through 4 new tracks:

Damn, that tornado level looks incredible. I was never big on any sort of off-roading game, but seeing these tracks makes me really interested to see how this game turns out. And also makes me consider checking its predecessor out.

Why race in the city, when you can race on top of the city?

As long as the handling is great, then I'm sure I'll enjoy this game.

This is what fuel was trying to be with some of its races it wasn't a bad game but could of used more. But I digress this will an awesome motor storm much like the others. Makes me wish I had the monetary assets to buy a ps3.

    That was pretty god-damned amazing.
    Instead of cliffs, it's skyscrapers.
I just hope the diffculty is changable, I couldn't really play more than ten hours of the previous games due to balls out frustration.

That sea-side one looks very interesting. Long stretches of road, and water everywhere to cool your shit down.

I'm going to have alot of fun with this game.

Why do I get the feeling that all these games tracks would be fun to play for like...a couple hours, and then when you've sorta memorized where all the crazy shit happens, they'd lose their novelty completely..

I have to say it looks very impressive. I'm not usually into racing-esque games but this might have seduced me already.

I like it! I think that developers really need to go with over-the-top game-play sometimes
